JAMESON BAYLES

A side effect of the military industrial complex, Jameson Bayles was born in a hospital at Forbes Field AFB just south of Topeka, KS. By the age of eighteen, Jameson had participated in a refueling mission with F-16s over the skies in South Dakota, stood atop an active missile silo, and was the bait in a counter-terrorism exercise with a USAF Security Forces flight at Whiteman AFB. After watching Nirvana perform at the 1992 MTV Music Awards, Jameson decided to become a writer.
Published in a variety of literary mediums, Jameson Bayles is the co-founder of The House Show Poetry Network as well as the poetry director of The Rusted Straitjacket Unicycle Troop. He currently resides in the Midwest.
